SOLANGE’S STYLE EVOLUTION
Solange Knowles-Ferguson is much more than Beyonce’s baby sister. She has always stood out and made a name for herself since she stepped out on the scene back in 2002.
Solange’s style was always unique. She never stood in the shadow of her sisters of Destiny’s Child. When she brought out her first album Solo Star in 2003 she had an Indie style.
As she blossomed into a young adult, got married and had her son Daniel “Juelz” Smith, she started to switch her style up. Upon her sophomore album release,Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, you can see the 70s and 80s girl group style emerging with her style, especially the channeling of her inner Diana Ross.
Solange continued to enhance her style trying different looks. Mixing prints, patterns, and colors are a specialty for Solo and she definitely wears it well.
